Our Strike Out Pediatric Cancer Bowling Fundraiser was a great success and our pictures show just that! We were featured in the local publication The Tinley Junction. We had 108 bowlers and many walk in guests who supported Julia’s Legacy not only by their ticket purchases, but also by buying raffle tickets for baskets, popper prizes, split the pot and a silent raffle.
We are so fortunate to have the help of many volunteers. Julia’s aunts, uncles and cousins all pitched in to help, along with her friends and teachers. We also had friends who helped out, along with the newly formed Julia’s Legacy of Hope Junior Board from Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park. We would also like to thank Centennial Lanes for their continued support. Tony and Rose, we could not do this without you! And, of course, there is Julia’s brother, Michael, who started the bowling fundraisers for Julia’s Legacy in January of 2014. He is amazing!
We are already looking forward to the 5th Annual Centennial Lanes / Julia’s Legacy of Hope Strike Out Pediatric Cancer in January, 2018!
